As you all know, I'm not really much of a religious person. In fact, pretty much not at all, but I figured this to be a worthy topic so let's see how she flies. Today is good friday, a major day for christians worldwide. It's a day the signifies much to them, incuding the fact that lent is pretty much over and Easter is two days away. But is it fair to call this day good friday? Is that too much pressure for it to be called good before it even occurs? Are we basing the "Goodness" of this friday on past fridays? What if you have an average friday today or even a slightly less that average friday? Could it be that someone who has a lousy friday today could feel as it they were mocked by the so called "goodness" of this day? Is it possible that having a great friday may, in fact, make those who setteled for merely good feel like they were left out? Maybe we should look at it from a new persepctive. Maybe we should call it "a friday with potential for goodness" or maybe even "friday that looks to have a huge upside". Could either even be considerred? How about "Friday that could very well be good under the right conditions" or better yet "Friday with scenarios for goodness intact" I guess for now we'll have to just keep caling it good, but this may be something we need to look into a little further. It could be that we all have a good friday today, but there could be a lot of letdowns for those who dont and maybe even some who feel that their friday supassed good and feel that they arent being rewarded for it.
Either way, have a good or better than good friday everyone. Still better yet...
I hope your friday has potential for good while bettering itself and becoming great.
Yeah, that'll work!

For the record, my friday was pretty good. I'd go with slightly less than very good but somehwat more than average and yet possibly a little bit to the ok side.
